ZAZ-965 "Zaporozhets" (The Humpback) The smallest and most affordable car, often called the "Hunchback." The Engineering: It was rear-engined and air-cooled, much like a VW Beetle or a Porsche (though the comparisons usually ended there). Why it’s a Legend: Because it was so light and had a flat floor, it was surprisingly good at driving through deep mud and snow where heavier cars would get stuck.
